HR Generalist (Onsite Charleston SC)

Responsibilities
In this role youll serve as a trusted HR partner across a wide range of responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruiting and staffing logistics ensuring a smooth and compliant hiring process
- Own onboarding and offboarding experiences creating a positive first and last impression for employees
- Maintain and manage HRIS systems including payroll PTO and benefits administration
- Ensure HR policies and procedures remain compliant with federal state and local regulations
- Support leave of absence programs (FMLA ADA workers compensation) with accuracy and care
- Drive employee engagement through wellness initiatives recognition programs and feedback efforts
- Collaborate with regional and corporate HR teams on broader initiatives and best practices
Experience
Were looking for someone who is both detail-oriented and people-focused:
- 3 years of HR experience ideally supporting hourly/non-exempt populations
- Strong knowledge of employment laws (FMLA ADA FLSA and applicable state regulations)
- Excellent communication organization and problem-solving skills
- Experience in manufacturing logistics or distribution environments is a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday or UKG
- HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus
