ISS STOXX is seeking aCorporate Governance Research Specialistwith a focus on thePolish market. This role is well suited to candidates with an interest in capital markets who enjoy analysing corporate structures disclosures and governance frameworks and understanding how these are assessed by market participants.
What Youll Do
As a member of the Corporate Governance Research team you will:
Analyse corporate governance and financial disclosures of publicly listed Polish companies
Review company documents such as:
Shareholder meeting (AGM/EGM) materials
Articles of association / bylaws
Board and committee information
Apply welldefined governance guidelines and policies to assess companies and produce clear structured research reports
Produce highquality research reports and vote recommendations used by global institutional investors
Respond to internal and external questions by explaining governance topics clearly and objectively
Engage with companies and investor stakeholders on governancerelated questions
Contribute written insights and commentary to ISS Governance publications
Build deep expertise in corporate governance capital markets and shareholder issues in Poland while working closely with international colleagues
Who Were Looking For
We are particularly interested in candidates who:
Have a genuine curiosity about how companies are governed supervised and held accountable.
Are comfortable reading analysing and summarising complex documents.
Can explain technical or regulatory topics clearly to nonspecialist audiences.
Enjoy research analysis and structured decisionmaking.
Aredetailoriented and comfortable working independently within clear guidelines.
What you Bring
A strong interest in capital markets publicly listed companies and market disclosure.
An understanding of corporate governance concepts (e.g. board structures shareholder rights oversight mechanisms) gained through education professional experience or market exposure.
Familiarity with Polish market practices standards or regulatory frameworks relevant to listed companies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Polish and English.
A law degree obtained in Poland is highly preferred
A proactive organised approach with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlinesparticularly during AGM season.
