As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Renton WA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post that values professionalism teamwork integrity and a caring innovative approach while supporting critical operations.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings restricted areas parking areas and perimeter locations helping to deter unauthorized access and unusual activity.
• Monitor access points verify credentials and/or authorizations for entry and report suspicious behavior policy violations and other security-related concerns.
• Maintain readiness to perform armed post duties in accordance with site policies post orders and Allied Universal standards while supporting a professional environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
