Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: New York NY 11373
Unit: Radiology
Shift: 12:00 AM 8:00 AM (Night Shift)
Schedule: 5 days/week (35 hours) alternating weekends & holidays

Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is an experienced MRI Technologist to join a radiology department in an acute care setting in New York NY. The MRI Technologist will perform diagnostic MRI procedures ensure patient safety and produce high-quality imaging in collaboration with radiologists and clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans using facility-specific imaging equipment
- Ensure patient safety comfort and proper positioning during procedures
- Prepare maintain and clean the MRI suite and equipment
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Follow infection control radiation safety and hospital protocols
- Participate in orientation and training programs including EPIC EMR usage
- Ensure compliance with all imaging and safety standards
Requirements
- Associates degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Active NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license
- Current MRI certification (ARRT or ARMRIT)
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in an acute care or hospital setting
- Strong communication skills (verbal written and reading proficiency in English)
- Ability to work night shifts weekends and holidays on rotation
