Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is an experienced MRI Technologist to join a radiology department in an acute care setting in New York NY. The MRI Technologist will perform diagnostic MRI procedures ensure patient safety and produce high-quality imaging in collaboration with radiologists and clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans using facility-specific imaging equipment
• Ensure patient safety comfort and proper positioning during procedures
• Prepare maintain and clean the MRI suite and equipment
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
• Follow infection control radiation safety and hospital protocols
• Participate in orientation and training programs including EPIC EMR usage
• Ensure compliance with all imaging and safety standards

Requirements

• Associates degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Active NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license
• Current MRI certification (ARRT or ARMRIT)
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in an acute care or hospital setting
• Strong communication skills (verbal written and reading proficiency in English)
• Ability to work night shifts weekends and holidays on rotation
