Millwright/Welder

• Availability on 1st 2nd and 3rd Shift (8 hour shifts)
• $40 p/h
• Manufacturing / Recycling facility
• Chapel Glen IN (West Indianapolis)
• Must be able to pass a Stick Welding Test (SMAW)
• Must have Mechanical Maintenance / Millwright ability

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform corrective and preventative mechanical maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot repair and maintain mechanical systems using technical documentation schematics and drawings.
• Install new plant machinery and perform mechanical and fabrication work as needed.
• Repair and maintain pumps piping systems gearboxes conveyors and other process equipment.
• Perform steel fabrication repairs and modifications to support plant operations.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work area in compliance with company and site-specific safety programs.
• Promote and enforce environmental health and safety (EHS) standards across all activities.
• Support other maintenance and production needs as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications:

• 23 years of recent industrial maintenance millwright or machine repair experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals.
• Must pass an S.M.A.W. (stick welding) test; strong knowledge of metal properties and safe welding practices.
• Ability to use computer systems for maintenance documentation or work orders (CMMS experience a plus).
