The hospitality branch of the A24 Group marketing team is growing. We are seeking a sophisticated and driven Digital Marketer to focus on a collection of distinguished lifestyle and hospitality brands spanning wine golf and fine dining.
Our portfolio includes Benguela Cove UK Leonardslee Family Vineyards Mannings Heath Golf Club and Restaurant Interlude - each a world-class experience in its own right. We are looking for a storyteller who can translate the physical beauty of our estates into a compelling digital presence to grow our audiences boost sales and drive meaningful engagement.
Role Overview
As our Digital Marketer you will be responsible for the day-to-day digital marketing activity across our brand portfolio. Working closely with our professional in-house production studio for visual content you will plan execute and report on campaigns that span social media email paid advertising and beyond.
This is a hands-on fast-paced role that requires a blend of creative flair and rigorous analytical thinking. You will be expected to switch seamlessly between brand voices ensuring the refined elegance of a Michelin-starred restaurant is as well-represented as the vibrant community of a championship golf club.
Key Responsibilities
Website & SEO
- Digital Management: Update and maintain brand websites built on platforms such as Squarespace or Shopify ensuring a premium user experience.
- Search Optimisation: Implement on-page SEO best practices including metadata keyword optimisation and content structuring with support from our SEO Specialists.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor website health and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and user journeys.
Content & Copywriting
- Narrative Craft: Write compelling on-brand copy for websites social media email campaigns and promotional materials.
- Tone of Voice: Adapt your writing style across four distinct luxury brands ensuring consistency and sophistication.
- Studio Collaboration: Liaise with the production studio to brief review and publish high-quality photo and video content.
Social Media Management
- Strategy & Growth: Manage and grow social media accounts across Instagram TikTok Facebook LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
- Content Calendars: Develop and maintain detailed content calendars for all brands.
- Community Engagement: Foster online communities by responding to comments and messages with a professional helpful tone.
Email Marketing
- Campaign Delivery: Build schedule and manage email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp Shopify or similar platforms.
- Database Health: Grow and maintain subscriber lists in strict compliance with GDPR.
- Analysis: Analyse open rates click-through rates and conversions to continuously refine performance.
Analytics & Reporting
- Insightful Reporting: Produce regular performance reports covering website traffic social media growth email metrics and paid media results.
- Recommendations: Present actionable insights to the wider team to guide future marketing spend and strategy.
PR & Events
- Press Relations: Draft and distribute professional press releases to relevant media contacts.
- Event Support: Assist in the planning and promotion of brand events ensuring comprehensive digital coverage before during and after.
Requirements
Essential
- Experience: Proven experience in a digital marketing role (minimum 23 years).
- Copywriting: Exceptional copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail and brand consistency.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience managing websites via Squarespace or Shopify.
- Organisational Skills: The ability to manage multiple brands and deadlines simultaneously in a high-output environment.
Advantageous
- Experience in the wine hospitality golf or luxury lifestyle sectors.
- Familiarity with GDPR and POPIA compliance.
- Basic understanding of Google Ads or other paid search channels.
- Experience briefing and collaborating with creative production teams.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and comfort interpreting data to drive decisions.
- Experience running and optimising Meta Ads campaigns.
