Job Summary
1) Serve as the Scrum Master
2) Facilitating Scrum ceremonies (Refinement sprint planning retrospectives removing impediments as needed stand-ups stakeholder meetings etc.);
3) Coaching Agile/Scrum practices and ensuring correct use of Scrum process;
4) Training teams to self-manage and self-organize;
5) Ensuring the team works closely with product owner on backlog refinement for backlog priority;
6) Resolving impediments in a timely manner;
7) Resolving team conflicts and shielding the team from distractions;
8) Identifying cross-team dependencies;
9) Coordinating and assisting the team to create clear and concise epics/stories and sizing/tasking;
10) Monitoring tracking and communicating team velocity and sprint/release progress;
11) Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization;
12) Coaching the team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization;
13) Facilitating discussion decision making and conflict resolution;
14) Assisting with internal and external communication improve transparency and radiate information to ensure that a teams progress and successes are highly visible to all stakeholders;
15) Supporting and educating the Product Owners especially with respect to refining and managing the product backlog;
16) Managing Scrum task board for teams;
17) Managing Scrum artifacts including burn downs and burn-ups;
18) Ensuring story points are effectively managed and measured; and
19) Attending Agile planning sessions with Agile program teams and assisting delivery team with estimating and accepting stories.
