Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Inspector to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a Civil Inspector you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of civil engineering projects throughout the region.
- Conduct thorough onsite inspections of civil engineering works including infrastructure buildings and utilities to ensure compliance with project specifications local regulations and industry standards.
- Review and interpret construction plans blueprints and technical specifications to verify that work is being executed according to design requirements.
- Perform detailed quality control checks on materials workmanship and construction methods throughout all project phases.
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports including photographic documentation and detailed observations of site conditions and construction progress.
- Collaborate with project managers engineers and contractors to address and resolve any nonconformities or quality issues identified during inspections.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols on construction sites to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Participate in project meetings to provide updates on inspection findings and contribute to problemsolving discussions.
- Stay uptodate with the latest industry standards building codes and inspection techniques to ensure best practices are consistently applied.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure projects and quality control.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods materials and quality control practices.
- Experience working in the GCC region with familiarity of local building codes and regulations (preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Physical capability to perform site inspections in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
