Job Summary
Canvas Mortgage A Division of Merchants & Marine Bank
Canvas Mortgage a division of Merchants & Marine Bank is experiencing continued growth and is expanding our mortgage production teams across Louisiana Mississippi Alabama and Florida.
We are seeking experienced Mortgage Loan Officers who are motivated relationship-driven and eager to grow with a strong regional banking organization.
About Canvas Mortgage
Canvas Mortgage offers a comprehensive suite of lending solutions including:
- Conforming loans
- Non-conforming loans
- Portfolio loan products
We support our loan officers with robust systems marketing tools and a collaborative banking environment.
Position Requirements
Qualified candidates should have:
- Active NMLS ID
- Minimum of 2 years of mortgage banking experience
- Strong knowledge of FNMA Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae guidelines and eligibility requirements
- Proven ability to manage loans from application through closing
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline through business development and referral-based relationships
- Build partnerships with:
- REALTORS
- Builders
- Attorneys
- Financial Advisors
- Bank employees
- Members of the general public
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the mortgage process
Technology & Support
Canvas Mortgage provides full technical and marketing support including:
- Encompass loan origination system
- EPPS for secondary pricing
- Surefire for top-of-mind customer retention and marketing automation
Work Location & Flexibility
- Option to work remotely
- Or work from designated locations within Mobile County Alabama
