Job Title: Special Education Teacher Middle School
Location: Plainfield NJ
Schedule: Full-Time (7:10 AM 3:30 PM)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support middle school students in an inclusive learning environment. This role focuses on delivering individualized instruction through both push-in and pull-out services helping students achieve academic success and meet their individualized education goals.

Key Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction to middle school students with disabilities
Deliver push-in and pull-out services based on student needs
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies for diverse learners
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with general education teachers staff and families
Support students in achieving academic and behavioral goals
Participate in IEP meetings and school-based team discussions

Caseload

Approximately 13 students

Requirements

Active New Jersey Department of Education (NJ DOE) Instructional License (required)
Middle School Special Education certification (required)
Must be Highly Qualified in ELA and/or Math
