As an Industry Manager II you will be responsible for owning Pinterests revenue strategy and execution for the Retail vertical in Brazil with a mandate to grow our share in one of the countrys largest and most competitive categories. This includes developing and executing localized strategies leading quarterly target setting and forecasting and ensuring operational excellence across pipeline and leading sales indicators. A core function of this role is to lead and coach a high performing sales teamsetting clear expectations driving accountability and fostering an inclusive culture. The Industry Manager II will also deepen executive relationships with key advertisers and industry partners advocate internally for Brazils needs and champion innovative uses of AI to improve sales effectiveness productivity and decision-making positioning Pinterest as a trusted performance-driven partner in the Brazilian digital advertising market.

What youll do:

  • Manage a team of Client Partners and Client Account Managers based in Brazil;
  • Close strategic partnerships and scale revenue with advertisers of different sizes in Brazil;
  • Drive Sales operational excellence across key metrics and leading Sales indicators according to the annual and quarterly business plan;
  • Build and maintain strong direct relationships with partners executive and operational teams;
  • Be an internal advocate for the Sales teams in Brazil to unlock barriers and accelerate growth opportunities in this market.
  • Help the team thrive through innovative uses of AI that improve productivity sharpen insights and unlock more effective ways of selling and partnering.

What were looking for:

  • Experience in Advertising Digital and/or Media Sales and experience working with executive-level business and marketing leaders within client organizations;
  • Proven track record of managing a world-class sales team including extensive forecasting experience and achieving or exceeding revenue goals;
  • Strong understanding and experience in highly analytical and performance-based media organizations with a background on managing branding and performance-driven customers.
  • Ability to interface with product and engineering to synthesize customer needs and feedback;
  • Strong team player and ability to succeed in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience leveraging AI to improve sales effectiveness productivity decision-making or team performance.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Communications or equivalent experience.

In-Office Requirement Statement:

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means were not always working in an office but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration at least 2-5 times per week. Therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from Sao Paulo office.
