What Youll Do

As an Apprentice Sprinkler Fitter youll work alongside licensed journeymen to install modify and service fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings. This is a hands-on learn-while-you-earn role tied to a registered apprenticeship program.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the installation of sprinkler piping heads hangers and related components following approved blueprints and NFPA 13/13R/13D standards
• Cutting threading grooving and joining pipe using hand and power tools
• Helping with system testing flushing and inspections
• Maintaining a clean and safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations
• Attending all required apprenticeship classes and completing coursework on schedule
• Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor

What Were Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Enrollment in or eligibility for a UA (United Association) or equivalent registered apprenticeship program
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. work at heights and stand for extended periods
• Valid drivers license preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
• Reliable attendance this role requires consistent on-site presence

Working Conditions

Work is performed primarily at active construction sites. Exposure to varying temperatures heights confined spaces and loud equipment is expected. PPE is required and provided.
