Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) PACU
Location: West Hollywood CA 90048
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Schedule: Mid Shift 3x12-hour shifts (2:00 PM 2:30 AM) block scheduling available

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality post-anesthesia care in a fast-paced high-volume surgical environment. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia managing pain and ensuring patient stability while collaborating closely with surgical and anesthesia teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and assess vital signs
• Administer medications including pain management and sedation
• Provide comprehensive post-operative care and ensure patient safety
• Manage airway support IV lines and ventilators as needed
• Perform conscious sedation and initiate IV access
• Document patient progress and communicate updates to the care team
• Support a high volume of surgical cases across multiple specialties
• Float between pre-operative and PACU areas as required
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care instructions
• Respond promptly to emergencies and clinical complications

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Associate or Bachelors degree in Nursing

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active California RN License (Required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Required

Experience & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
• Experience with conscious sedation IV starts telemetry and ventilators
• Ability to care for both adult and pediatric patient populations
• Flexibility to float across units as needed
• Availability to work weekends as required
