The Engine Automation team is building Tooling and Frameworks around Engine performance and rendering-related regression testing. We work closely with engine team engineers to understand and gather requirements and finally deliver on the product. You will also have the liberty of talking to your audience who will use your product gather important feedback and then iterate upon it. This is an exciting time at Roblox and we are growing quickly and you will be a founding member of an essential new team.

As a Senior Software Engineer - you will architect and build the automation test application important to the internal Roblox Engineers. If you are an experienced engineer passionate about building test automation in a data-driven environment youll be with the Engine Automation team at home.

You Will:

• Develop engine code primarily in the area to allow automated regression testing with Thin Scriptable Client.
• Ship beautiful code following high coding standards.
• Work for your team being a force multiplier by unblocking issues and bridging the gaps between organizations.
• Be guided by our vision to put the Roblox community first and represent us through experience.

You Have:

• Experienced: You have worked on deep and challenging problems in complex C codebases.
• Motivated: With a development track record and 5 years shipping high complexity code (leveling to Senior Software Engineer or Principal Software Engineer will be based on experience and ability)
• Platform knowledge: You can jump with ease between Windows OS X Linux Android and iOS
• Curious: You want to learn and stay up-to-date on technology developments
• Collaborative: Enjoy working with other teams and disciplines to design elegant solutions that are scalable compliant and delightful
• Focused on writing clear readable testable and monitored code
