Position Summary
The University of Central Arkansas is seeking a dedicated and innovative Literacy Instructor to join the Department of Student Transitions. This instructor will be responsible for teaching college-level academic reading and writing to students who are designated in need of remediation research and service to the department and university. The successful candidate will work in a corequisite education model collaborating with general education faculty to design and deliver just-in-time content that will support students academic success and transition into college-level coursework. They may also teach stand-alone courses in their discipline. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. The position is non-tenure track and a nine-month appointment.
