The ICCT is looking for an intern to join our office in Beijing working to support the transition of the transport sector to zero-emission technologies. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the nonprofit sector.

You will:

• Contribute to research projects that analyze and communicate the status of environmental transportation policies adopted inChina

• Supportconductingstatistical analysis underguidance from ICCTs research staff

• Supportreport translation andoutreach materialdrafting works

• Deliver ad-hoc tasks as needed

You have:

• Be in the 3rd or 4h year of theundergraduateor 1st year of graduate studyinautomobileengineering environmental sciences orotherrelated disciplines.

• Knowledge of automobile technology and experienceof relevant projectsis preferred

• Microsoft Office knowledge.

• Excellent research analytical and quantitative skills along with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Abilityto work with databases usingstatistical languages/softwaressuch as R Pythonand Tableau whileproficiencyof R language is a plus.

• ProficiencyofEnglishand Chinese.

• Ability to work4days per week (ideally at least32hrper week) with a duration of 6-12months.

Our benefits

The internship contract will have a duration of6months withpotentialextensionto12 months. You will work in our Beijing officeand report to our China heavyduty vehicle program staff.ICCT will provide alaptopand other office equipment as needed. We are offering a salary ofCNY4202a month (30hours a week) or an amount proportional to the workload allowed by your university.
