Intertek is searching for an Video Editorto join our Frameworksteam.

Were seeking a highly skilled and experiencedvideoeditor who is fluent in both English and French Canadianto join our growing this fast-paced remote role youll be responsible for taking our training content from script to screen using your expertise in FCPX and Adobe Creative Suite to bring our vision to life.

Responsibilities:

• Editvideocontent using Final Cut Pro X (FCPX) with a strong emphasis on creating high-quality motion graphics.
• Collaborate closely with scriptwriters and other team members to understand the content and ensure a clear and engaging narrative.
• Utilize Adobe Photoshop (PS) and Illustrator (AI) for graphic design and creation of visual elements.
• Work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously meeting tight deadlines.
• Stay up to date on the latestvideoediting trends and software advancements.
• Use AI technology to render images videos and graphics to use in edits
  • Stay up to date on latest AI trends

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience as avideoeditor with a proven track record of creating compelling training content.
• An absolute mastery of FCPX including advanced editing techniques and motion graphics creation.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite particularly Photoshop and Illustrator for graphic design and asset creation.
• A keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of visual storytelling principles.
• The ability to work independently manage time effectively and meet deadlines consistently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A self-starter with a hop in and go mentality requiring minimal onboarding.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with After Effects or similar motion graphics software.
• Experience with Synthesia AI Sora Chat GPT Canva

• A portfolio showcasing yourvideoediting skills and ability to create engaging training content (link to your portfolio a plus).

Salary & Benefits Information

The base wage for this position is $73000 per year.
