Job Summary
Role: Business Analyst in Administration (Back Office) Accounting and Financing for Loan Servicing Solution replacement
Start date: ASAP
End date: June 2026 (with potential extension)
Number of resources needed: 1
Location & work model: Montreal QC Hybrid (occasional onsite requirements anticipated 2-3 times over duration of contract)
Language: Bilingual is an asset English required
Project Background:
The Business Analyst plays a key role in optimizing administrative and accounting processes related to financing (loans equity guarantees grants) and back-office operations. Acting as a bridge between operational financial and technological teams the role ensures efficiency compliance and service quality. This position requires an in-depth understanding of financial products their post-approval administration accounting workflows and financing management systems.

o L3 target processes
o UAT test strategy
o UAT test cases
Required Qualifications:
Expertise in financing (loans equity guarantees grants) and back-office operations.
Strong understanding of financial flows and accounting principles.
Proficiency with financial management tools and ERP systems (e.g. FIS Temenos Oracle Dynamics).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Experience in business analysis within a financial or banking environment.
Knowledge of financial regulations and internal control best practices.
Responsibilities:
Business Needs and Process Analysis
o Gather document and analyze business requirements related to financing administration and accounting management activities.
o Evaluate existing processes propose improvements to optimize them and increase efficiency and design target processes using appropriate tools (e.g. Visio) and BPMN methodology.
o Write user stories for the implementation of new processes.
o Define the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategy and prepare UAT test cases.
Solution and Systems Management
o Participate in the procurement process for selecting new financial and accounting systems.
o Collaborate with IT teams to define functional specifications and ensure solution implementation.
o Test and validate solution functionalities.
o Support teams during the deployment of new solutions.
Financial and Accounting Analysis
o Understand accounting principles to interpret the impact of transactions (loans equity grants) on financial statements.
o Prepare reports and indicators to monitor financing activities.
Operational Support and Compliance
o Ensure operational compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
o Contribute to the implementation of internal controls to secure transactions.
Communication and Coordination
o Act as a point of contact between financial operational and technological teams.
o Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to align objectives and deliverables.
