Job Summary

You will be at the heart of the HR Department providing essential administrative support and collaborating closely with the broader Regional HR Team . Reporting to the Sr HR Business Partner youll gain invaluable hands-on experience by executing core HR processes and practices for your region.

Implement
Implement: Handle administrative tasks and when ready provide support to various HR
functions as directed and provide support for assigned client groups with regard interpreting
and adherence to HR processes employee relations/legal.


Job Duties
Update and maintain employee records and HR databases (MyWorkday) ensuring
employee profiles are accurate and up to date.
Generate and summarize assigned reports including but not limited to new hire/termination
reports employee details Wage Analysis Labour Relations Legal Invoices and other
Workday reports.
Prepare employee Reference Letters/Letters of Employment as requested.
Assist in the acquisition process through onboarding and training.
Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and resolve minor HR issues.

Participate in conversations site-level initiatives and reporting activities that allow the
HR team to assess understand and improve employee engagement and retention as
well as working to reduce employee turnover.
Follow-up and conduct exit interviews.
Advise managers on the basic/general interpretation and administration of HR policies
programs and procedures including benefits and RRSP/DPSP guidance Workday
support and employee onboarding.
Support operations with any internal employee changes such as preparing job change
letters as per the offer letter matrix and inputting into Workday.
Maintain the master immigration tracker with updates to ensure real-time accuracy of
case statuses and legal requirements.
Monitor all work permit expiration dates and coordinate with employees to obtain the
updated documentation (Work Permit & SIN)
Ensure compliance with all applicable provincial laws and regulations as well as
company policies procedures and management directives.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the HR leader.

Requirements
Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources or related field of study.
Preferred 1-2 years experience in a Human Resources Administrator/Coordinator
capacity.
Understanding and working knowledge of current provincial employment standards
Experience working in a dynamic operational environment; comfortable with the need
to re-prioritize tasks when required.
High attention to detail and a proven record of project execution.
Customer-focused attitude with elevated level of professionalism.
A project management mindset.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate within the organization by building and leveraging
professional working relationships.
Drivers License is required.
Occasional Travel may required.
