About the Role:
Everest Insurance Company of Canada a member of the Everest Group is seeking a motivated and energetic Claims Assistant to join our Toronto Ontario office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Pro-actively manage the general claims in box with a timely response to all enquiries.
Prompt reply to phone enquiries
Comply with the Everest claim response service requirement of a 24-hour turnaround time from email notification to assignment
Managing and updating claim drive folders where applicable
Maintaining and updating Claims Bordereaux
Process payment requests wire transfers and remittances to vendors and payees
Support for miscellaneous daily administrative tasks as required
Qualifications Education & Experience:
University Degree College diploma or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 6 months experience in an administrative or clerical role
Direct experience in Insurance an asset
Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills with the ability to work effectively within a larger multinational environment
Strong Proficiency in Windows Microsoft Word Excel
Superior oral and written communication skills
The base salary range for this position is CAD 43000 - CAD 64000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education experience qualifications and work location.
