Responsibilities
Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
Obtain a minimum yearly goal in New Business accounts; Meet quarterly and annual revenue objectives; Meet or exceed the threshold for the established minimum number of sales calls per week.
Coordinate Customer visits with other Sales Personnel; Participate in joint sales calls with Corporate Account Manager.
Take a lead role in executing Corporate Account Strategy for assigned local accounts.
Coordinate and complete profile information as needed.
Maintain company and contact information and document all sales calls customer visits and business opportunities in Salesforce.
Demonstrate ability to negotiate pricing and contract requirements; During Customer sales calls determine adequacy of present level of service and recommend adjustments.
Promote communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals.
Assist in the collection of invoiced revenue from Customers.
Ensure all staff are effective in their communication with customers and that their commitments to clients are upheld in an efficient manner so as to guarantee Customer satisfaction with Clean Harbors and expand Customer accounts within the region to grow market share.
Maintain daily awareness of sales activities and results and inform management and leadership teams of current and emerging market trends service/product preferences competitive activities as well as industry organizational and technological advancements.
Complete annual Sales Revenue Budget.
Obtain signed Standard Service Agreements for New Business.
Review understand and use Monthly Revenue and Receivable Reports
Manage business expenses and the timely submission of business expenses.
Develop and implement ideas and opportunities to continuously improve customer; relationships and develop new clients through prospecting networking and performing sales calls on a regular and consistent basis.
Prepare sales strategies for targeted accounts and utilize other staff resources to prepare and make proposals/presentations to customers.
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelors degree in business or environmental Science preferred.
1 to 3 Years of industry relevant experience.
1 to 3 Years of technical sales experience.
Bi-lingual French and English is an Asset
Standard Drivers License.
Reliable transportation.
Negotiation Skills.
Customer Service Skills.
Clear Communication Skills.
Self Starter. Must be able to work independently.
Must be able to develop and maintain technical understanding of all site and technical service lines of business.
Ability to prepare and present effectively.
