Cole Harbour Family Medicine is seeking two family physicians to join our growing team. This opportunity offers flexibility autonomy and strong team support within a well-established clinic.

Physicians have the option to build their own patient panel through a combination of inherited patients the provincial waitlist or by bringing an existing practice. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available.

Key features of the role include:

• Flexible Compensation: Choice of LFM or fee-for-service (FFS) model
• Manageable Call Schedule:
  • Bi-weekly evening clinic (latest appointment 8:30 p.m.)
  • Two 4-hour weekend urgent care shifts every three months (easily traded)
  • No overnight or hospital on-call requirements
• Comprehensive Support:
  • Dedicated billing specialist
  • Full administrative team for scheduling and operations
  • Accuro EMR system for efficient workflow
• Collaborative Practice Environment:
  • Shared coverage model among physicians
  • Access to in-clinic procedures (e.g. skin excisions IUD insertions joint injections minor surgical procedures)
  • Strong nursing support for clinical procedures and chronic disease management
• Professional Growth Opportunities:
  • Flexibility to incorporate additional clinical interests (e.g. hospitalist work sports medicine long-term care emergency medicine prenatal care)
  • Optional mentorship and ongoing learning sessions

We are looking for a physician who is committed to building a long-term practice in Nova Scotia and values continuity of care collaboration and community-based medicine.

Qualifications :

• All applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
• All applicants must be eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
• Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
