TEMP- Material Processing Technician

Clean Harbors inEdmonton ABis currently looking for Temp Seasonal -Material Processing Technicianto join their safety focusedteam! The successful candidates will be responsible for operating and maintaining dredges and centrifuge systems.This position requires travel for 2-4 weeks at a time based off the project demand.

• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes;
• Operates centrifuges and electric dredges;
• Maintains centrifuges and dredges;
• Rigs up and rigs out dredging and centrifuge equipment;
• Performs general duties required to complete work such as: debris removal clean up set up etc.;
• Completes all required paperwork.

• Previous industrial or construction based experience is strongly preferred;

• Previous centrifuge operating or dewatering experience is an asset;

• Ability to travel overnight up to 75% annually with 1-2 weeks from home at a time;

• Class 5 Drivers License is required;

• Experience operating front-end loaders wheel loaders or skid steersis an asset;

• Boaters license is an asset.
