WE ARE HIRINGand looking for an influential and highly motivated Temporary Dispatcher to join our growing teamTODAY for 6 month contract.

Job Responsibilities

As the dispatcher you are responsible from the beginning of the process to the end. Entering the orders into our TMW building a manifest dispatching the driver and following up until the POD is in the system and the order is ready for billing. To do this you are in constant communication with drivers as well as our customers. You will be responsible for dispatching deliveries preplanning freight for return trips.

Qualifications:

As the successful candidate you will be self-motivated results driven and a team addition you will possess the following qualifications:

• Experience as aDispatcherin the transportation field with knowledge of relevant regulations is required
• Experience in hunting freight through load Boards supplier distribution emails customer emails.
• Experience and knowledge of Alberta Provincial shipping regulations and practices.
• Flat deck and LTL shipping knowledge is required
• This position requires an individual who is adaptable; self-motivated results driven and a team player.
• Successful with building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• An expert at multi-tasking and effectively managing changing priorities.
• High level of detail in performing tasks.
• Proactive able to identify early on any potential issues and to implement solutions.
• Experience in Truckmate and Microsoft Office
