Job Description

We are looking for a Platform Solution Consultant to join our ServiceNow Practice in EMEA. This role will work closely with our customers and partners to evaluate the current state of processes and tools define the ServiceNow platform requirements and adapt these ensuring quality standards and best development practices.

Responsibilities

Assist the sales personnel in the qualification of customer needs and performing pre demo needs analysis
Demonstration of product in alignment with Identified Customer Business Initiatives
Responding to Request for Information/Proposal documents
Effectively guide customers to align their ServiceNow program to their business objectives
Inspire customer confidence through professional presence self-confidence and implementation of workable solutions in real time
Maintain good knowledge of the ServiceNow platform
Constantly increase level of accredited certifications on ServiceNow Platform and additional modules
Remains knowledgeable of current technologies and carries out research to identify new trends that can be used to achieve maximum results
Collaborate and contribute to the creation deployment and maintenance of Technical Best Practices and Standards
Demonstrate technical leadership on ServiceNow engagements with customers and partners
Contribute to the continual improvement of Delivery and Advisory Services processes as well as the maturing of the different portfolios capabilities expertise and best practices in consideration of customer needs and requirements
Provide hands on assistance with the detailed design and implementation phases of selected engagements.

Degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology and proven experience in technical consulting roles
At least 2 years of pre-sales experience particularly with ITSM experience (tool and business process)
Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
Experience with ServiceNow including hands-on knowledge of Hardware Asset Management Software Asset Management and Discovery modules
Demonstrated understanding of asset lifecycle management software license compliance and CMDB population strategies with the ability to articulate business value in presales contexts
Strong knowledge of SDLC Methodologies such as Waterfall Agile and Scrum
Experience working with or understanding of Managed Service Providers Outsourcers or System Integrators
Knowledge of ITIL best practices
Ability to identify and prioritize customer problem/solution sets based on business objectives
Good communication and presentation skills to include technical and business concepts
Strong presentation writing and communication skills in public and private meeting forums with audiences including executive level attendance.
Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO SAML SSL Web Services LDAP JDBC ODBC REST SCP FTPS
