Water Quality (WQ) Platform is part of the Environmental & Applied Solutions reporting segment and is a global leader in water quality analysis and treatment providing instrumentation and disinfection systems to help analyze and manage the quality of ultra-pure water portable water wastewater groundwater and ocean water in residential commercial industrial and natural resource applications. Our water quality business provides products under a variety of brands including Hach Trojan Technologies McCrometer and ChemTreat. WQ Asia has sales offices in India Australia New Zealand Singapore South Korea Thailand Malaysia Indonesia Vietnam and the Philippines.

Hach-TH Water Quality Platform a part of the Hach Company is a leader in manufacturing and distributing analytical instruments and reagents used to test water quality and other liquid response to the rapidly expanding reagent in water test business in Thailand we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Water Quality Thailand Group as a Service Director.

Key Responsibilities
This role will lead the entire service organization with responsibilities in four main areas: defining strategy driving sales improving processes and standardizing workflow

• Strategy: Work with the GM of SEA and Commercial Director of Hach Thailand to define strategic plan imperatives for the Service Business in Thailand.

• Sales: Lead the process of creating service product/portfolio commercialization to grow revenues from Service from current levels to 4X in the next 3 years.

• Improve Processes: Build processes to improve service utilization (productivity) using tools like Service Max Remote Monitoring and Centralized Scheduling and standardize service delivery processes. Champion the VES tool deployment within the service organization with a clear roadmap. Lead the change management process for the service organization to be the best-in-class service provider within the industry. Train and install foundational capabilities in the service organization including Action Planning Key Performance Indicator (KPI) management daily management (DM) and problem-solving processes (PSP).

• Standardize Workflow: Proactively lead root cause/countermeasure resolution of commercial and transactional performance issues in the Service Business to define the standard workflow. Provide formal and informal VES training and coaching for the Service team to ensure standardized approached on daily to day work.

Qualifications

Key Competencies:

• Combination of strategic and operational execution capabilities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of change management.

• Ability to quickly adapt to a new company culture and gain respect quickly.

• Independent leader capable of operating in a fast-moving ever-changing environment and effectively dealing with difficult situations.

• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities.

• Past experience in driving process improvement and developing clear roadmaps for execution.

• Effective coaching and mentoring skills.

• Excellent group facilitation and active listening skills.

• Highly self-driven taking ownership and being proactive.

Education and Skills:

• Proven 12-18 years of experience in Sales Strategic Marketing or Service Sales from any technical industries (experience in Instrumentation industry is a bonus but not a must).

• Preferably an MBA from a premier school with an undergraduate technical degree.

• Experience leading and managing a diverse team consisting of young and experienced technical associates.

• Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed expectations.

• Self-starter and comfortable working independently.

• Great data visualization and presentation skills to provide recommendations based on insights.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in both English and Thai being mandatory.

Travel: 30% to 50% within Thailand and occasionally to neighboring countries
