Your Impact

In this role you will act as a Subject Matter Expert in enterprise data governance translating strategy into actionable scalable solutions. Youll help build and embed governance frameworks empower data stewards and ensure high-quality compliant data that fuels analytics and AI initiatives.

What Youll Be Doing

• Lead the execution of enterprise data governance and stewardship in a federated model

• Drive domain onboarding training and adoption of governance frameworks

• Oversee key initiatives such as enterprise data classification aligned to regulatory standards

• Implement and optimize data catalog & marketplace solutions for better data discovery

• Design workflows for metadata management glossary curation and stewardship processes

• Partner cross-functionally (Business IT Security Legal Compliance) to embed governance into daily operations

• Influence stakeholders and drive adoption without direct authority

• Monitor and report on KPIs risks and governance performance

• Mentor team members and guide managed service providers

• Explore AI-driven innovations to enhance governance processes

What Were Looking For

Required:

• 8 years experience in data governance stewardship or enterprise data management

• Proven track record as a data governance SME in complex matrixed environments

• Strong experience driving adoption of governance frameworks and tools

• Hands-on experience with tools like Informatica Atlan Alation or similar

• Expertise in data classification metadata management and regulatory compliance

• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills

• Experience mentoring teams and managing governance initiatives

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Informatica platforms (IDMC CDGC AXON etc.)

• Exposure to modern data platforms (Snowflake Databricks)

• Background in regulated industries (life sciences biotech etc.)

• Knowledge of DOJ data security regulations

• Certifications such as CDMP DCAM DGSP
