Project
You will join a team responsible for building and modernizing backend systems based on microservices architecture. The project focuses on developing scalable Java-based services while ensuring high software quality through advanced test automation frameworks. A key objective is migrating legacy solutions to modern API-driven architectures and increasing Straight-Through-Processing (STP) capabilities.
You will
- Develop and maintain backend services and microservices using Java (11/17/21)
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality
- Contribute to migration from legacy systems to modern API-based architecture
- Work with RESTful services and integration layers
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve testing processes
- Optimize system performance and reliability
- Work with databases and write efficient SQL queries
- Use Unix-based environments and command-line tools in daily work
Must have
- 5 - 10 years of experience in backend development
- Strong knowledge of Java (Java 11 preferably 17)
- Hands-on experience in test automation (framework design and implementation)
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Good knowledge of Git
- Experience with SQL and databases (preferably Oracle)
- Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments
- Experience with Spring / Spring Boot
- Fluent English and Polish
Nice to have
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python Bash)
- Experience working in QA or closely with QA teams
- Understanding of application monitoring tools
