Senior Full Stack Engineer

We are hiring on behalf of our client a global innovator in fitness and wellness technology. Their mission is to empower people to live fit strong long and happy lives by delivering integrated experiences to millions of members anytime anywhere.

This role sits within the Device Services organization in the team responsible for commercial initiatives. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer you will help build software for a new generation of commercial fitness experiences in heavy-use environments such as gyms hotels universities and residential buildings.

You will work across backend services and web applications with a stronger focus on backend and platform development and play a key role in shaping operator tooling guest device experiences and the systems that support them. This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role for someone who thrives in ambiguity takes ownership and wants to influence both technical direction and product outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Product Development

• Build backend services and web-based tooling that support commercial Peloton devices in heavy-use environments.
• Develop features for signed-out and guest device experiences that enable seamless product use without a Peloton membership.
• Create internal and external-facing operator tools that provide visibility into device health status and performance.
• Deliver scalable secure and maintainable software across APIs services and frontend applications.

Technical Ownership

• Own technical initiatives end to end from scoping and design through implementation and rollout.
• Drive backend-heavy development across service architecture authentication platform exposure and infrastructure-related work.
• Improve system simplicity by identifying reusable patterns reducing complexity across services and contributing to engineering standards.
• Collaborate on solutions involving observability fleet management and platform capabilities used across device teams.

Collaboration

• Partner closely with engineers product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and turn ambiguity into execution.
• Contribute to code reviews design discussions whiteboarding and shared technical decision-making.
• Communicate clearly with distributed teams across the US and Poland.
• Support a strong team culture built on ownership speed collaboration and continuous learning.

Requirements:

• 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building backend services and web applications in modern production environments.
• Commercial experience with Kotlin Java Python TypeScript JavaScript or similar backend-oriented languages.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful microservices and service-based architectures.
• Good knowledge of at least one modern frontend framework such as React Vue or similar.
• Experience working with data stores such as PostgreSQL MongoDB DynamoDB or Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with cloud-native development containerized environments and deployment tooling such as Kubernetes Terraform GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
