Solicitor Corporate (M&A) Perth

About the role

Our Perth Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team is currently recruiting a Solicitor (23 years PQE). You will be part of a highly regarded M&A practice led by partners Nigel Hunt Heath Lewis and Antonella Pacitti recognised for advising on complex highprofile Australian and international transactions. The team acts for many of the regions leading clients notably across the energy & resources agribusiness and technology sectors.

The role offers excellent exposure to a broad and engaging range of matters across the full spectrum of M&A (both private and public) corporate advisory private capital and equity capital markets. With handson supervision and support youll have the opportunity to build your legal skills take on new challenges and work collaboratively with colleagues including Mallesons corporate teams on the eastern seaboard.

You will have

demonstrated experience in working on and executing corporate transactions

first rate experience of drafting documents (including transaction documents public disclosure documents etc.)

excellent analytical communication and research skills - to contribute to the delivery of prompt and commercially astute advice

strong commitment to client service and an interest in developing client relationships

commercial curiosity a drive to keep up to date with sector issues and development to enhance personal performance and client delivery

team focus - to facilitate effective teamwork by developing strong internal relationships

enthusiasm to be involved in business development activities - participating in industry related programs and developing strategic relationships and networks

recognisedcorporate experience gained in a similar private practice environment

a willingness to embrace new technologies including AI enabled legal tools as part of your ongoing professional development
