About the Role
Were looking for a highly organised proactive multitasker to join the Conservation Programs Branch Support team as an Administrative Support Officer. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the Branch by providing high-quality administrative coordination and communication support. This position is central to managing the flow of information within the Branch and supporting senior leadership to meet priorities and deadlines.

The role is responsible for managing a high volume of Ministerial folios and other correspondence received through the Branch mailbox ensuring emails are accurately triaged and allocated to the appropriate teams for action. You will track and schedule responses for Director approval ensuring all correspondence is delivered on time and in line with required standards. You will provide direct administrative support to the Branch Director including diary and email management and assist the Branch Management Team through effective information sharing and coordination. The role also supports governance activities by assisting with the preparation and minute-taking for weekly meetings. Additional responsibilities include maintaining staff lists coordinating and preparing Branch-wide communications managing branch asset registers and responding to ad hoc requests and enquiries from Branch staff.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated administrator who enjoys working collaboratively supporting senior stakeholders and contributing to the effective delivery of Branch operations enabling the branch support team to deliver on its objectives.

About You
You are a highly organised and reliable administrative professional with a strong ability to manage competing priorities in a fastpaced environment. You bring excellent attention to detail and sound judgement enabling you to accurately triage correspondence track actions and meet tight and often competing deadlines.

You have welldeveloped written communication skills and are confident preparing clear professional correspondence and internal communications. You are comfortable working collaboratively with senior stakeholders and understand the importance of timely information sharing confidentiality and discretion. Your strong interpersonal skills allow you to respond professionally to enquiries provide practical support to colleagues and contribute positively to a small busy team.

You are proactive adaptable and take initiative to keep administrative processes running smoothly. You are confident using office systems and registers to maintain accurate records including staff lists meeting documentation and branch assets and you take pride in delivering highquality work that supports effective branch operations.
