Koorootang Court Village is set besides a charming beachside surrounded by spacious parks and gardens in the heart of the Mornington this General Maintenance AllRounder role youll support the daytoday upkeep of our properties while providing a positive experience for our residents. Success in this role comes from being organised communicative and comfortable using computers with a natural ability to troubleshoot and get things done. No trade qualification is required we value transferable skills a cando attitude and a willingness to will support ourclose-knit team on aFull-Time weekend work!Reporting the Village Manager your duties will include: Coordinating and carrying out a variety of routine maintenance checks and general upkeep tasks across residential properties Assisting with daytoday handyperson duties such as minor fixes adjustments and basic installations Following safety and environmental guidelines to help ensure a safe and welcoming environment for residents visitors and contractors Responding to resident maintenance requests in a friendly helpful and timely manner Working with external contractors and supporting them as needed to ensure jobs are completed smoothly Keeping simple and accurate records of maintenance activities using our systems Helping out with occasional adhoc tasks as required under the guidance of the Village Manager Occasionally driving the village bus to transport residents locally always prioritising safety and courtesyAbout YouBe organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasksEffective communication skillsUnderstanding of machinery use and tools required for the jobCurrently hold an Australian MR Drivers Licence (or be willing to obtain one)Computer literate e.g. basic knowledge with using Excel Word Outlook AppsA current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)The ability to take initiative and be pro-activeThe ability to work individually and in a teamRelevant internal training and inductions will be provided to the successful candidate to Join the FunIf you take pride in your work enjoy being part of a friendly team and want to help create a place where people love to live Koorootang Court Village could be the perfect fit for you.
