About the role
We are seeking a Hydrogeologistto join our Resource Development Hydrogeologyteam based in Perth.
Reporting to the Hydrogeology Superintendent this role supports the delivery of waterrelated investigations that strengthen RTIOs hydrogeological knowledge base enable future expansion projects and sustain ongoing mining operations across a 10year planning horizon.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically capable and proactive hydrogeologist to work in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment partnering across the business to develop and implement effective groundwater and water management solutions. The role offers flexible working arrangements and adhoc travel to Pilbara operations as required.
You will be responsible for:
Interpreting complex hydrogeological datasets and contributing expert conceptual understanding to groundwater systems and numerical models
Supporting the design and implementation of integrated groundwater and water management strategies aligned to operational regulatory and project needs
Preparing highquality technical reports and hydrogeological assessments to support environmental approvals and business decisions
Leading and overseeing hydrogeological field programs including drilling testing and monitoring activities
Developing detailed scopes of work for dewatering reinjection water supply and groundwater monitoring infrastructure
Building and sustaining strong relationships with operational teams regulators and external partners
About you
A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
A bachelors degree in Hydrogeology Geoscience or a related discipline (postgraduate qualifications advantageous)
Strong technical capability in hydrogeological analysis and reporting
The ability to engage collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
Experience in operational mining environments (highly regarded)
A practical solutionfocused approach with a positive cando mindset
