Assisting with the day-to-day management of the DC.
Hands on role and is pivotal to the success of the business.
We are a national distribution network we have over 45000 SKUs distributing from our major DCs to our branches around the country. We carry large to small products from bearings power transmission seals and hydraulics. This role is for an experienced leader who can manage and support their team in a fast-paced within a challenging environment.

Youll work hand in hand with our management team overseeing day-to-day operations and steering our warehouse toward unrivaled efficiency. Success in this role means achieving ambitious business targets maintaining compliance and maximizing productivity all while championing a safe working environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting with the day to day management of the DC.
Working closely with the DC Manager/Supervisor and includes people leadership.
Supervise and coordinate the receiving shipping handling distribution and storage of all freight product and supplies that come in and out of warehouse.
Liaise with transport providers to ensure all stock movement is executed accurately.
Ensure all stock is handled appropriately and sorted to the correct destination.
Assist in the management of the budget for the warehousing function.
Assist with inventory operations.
To be considered you will have:
Proven experience in DC Operations in a supervisory position.
Experience and knowledge of warehouse and inventory operations.
Confident to communicate at all levels within the business.
Strong numeracy literacy skills and analytical problem-solving skills.
Curiosity to look at problems to determine their cause and potential improvements.
Willingness to work as part of a team and do whatever is required to help achieve business targets.
Computer literate at an intermediate level.
