As Student and Campus Engagement Assistant you will be at the heart of creating vibrant welcoming experiences that support students to feel connected and supported from their first days on campus through to graduation.

Working within Student Central you will help bring events and engagement initiatives to life through strong administration coordination and a genuine commitment to excellent service.

In this role you will:

  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging student programs and events across the student lifecycle including orientation graduations and key campus activities.
  • Provide practical ontheday event support such as venue setup registrations signage student assistance and packdown.
  • Help coordinate event logistics to ensure spaces are safe accessible welcoming and delivered in line with approved plans and timelines.
  • Assist with student communications administrative processes and stakeholder coordination to ensure events are wellorganised and run smoothly.

This continuing position is part time (0.6 FTE) and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land).

The remuneration for this position is Higher Education Worker Level 4 pro-rated 17%superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.

  3. Well established interpersonal written and communication skills including the ability to participate in a team environment demonstrating clear communication and mutual respect.
  4. Demonstrated ability to provide proactive advice and support to enhance the student experience.
  5. High level computer literacy skills with demonstrated ability to learn and work with new systems. Experience using a student management system would be desirable.
