Fantastic Opportunity! Our client who is seeking to appoint an Assembler at their brand newfacility in Melbournes western suburbs. Temp-to-perm y are a great company to work for!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble fibre optic and mechanical components according to work instructions and technical drawings
• Perform 100% self-inspection of your work before passing it to the next stage
• Ensure all assemblies meet strict quality standards on the first pass (minimal rework)
• Complete tasks within defined production times specified in work instructions
• Use hand tools and precision equipment (e.g. rivet guns torque tools measurement tools)
• Maintain a clean organised and safe workspace (5S standards)
• Identify and raise any quality or process issues immediately

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience in manual assembly precision work or similar technical environment
• Unlimited Australian Work Rights
• Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
• Ability to read and follow work instructions (technical drawings is a plus)
• Experience with quality-focused work environments preferred
• You are reliable and consistent attendance and punctuality are critical
• You are comfortable performing repetitive detail-oriented work for extended periods
• You naturally work with precision and care but without unnecessary slowness
• You take responsibility for your own quality you do not rely on others to catch mistakes
• You are able to follow standard procedures exactly as defined
• You are hands-on and enjoy working with tools and fine assemblie
• Drivers Licence
