Job Summary
This Service Manager role is to oversee a large OSHC service at Dohertys Creek OSHClub with a team of Coordinators Assistant Coordinators and Educators. The service is licensed for 153 children and currently averages approximately 80 children per day in After School Care.

About the role
Leading a team of Coordinators and Educators you will manage a service during before and after school care Pupil Free Days and School Holidays for children aged 512 years. Youll have the support of a state-specific office regular visits and mentorship from an experienced Regional Leader.
The role is full-time (38 hours per week) structured in block shifts to support work-life balance with a minimum of 15 hours per week in ratio alongside responsibilities as an Educational Leader.
- The school environment offers a rich learning context with strong Indigenous elements embedded throughout the school providing meaningful opportunities to explore and celebrate Aboriginal culture within the program.
- Focus on providing exceptional experiences leading your team maintaining strong compliance and building partnerships with local community stakeholders including kindergartens and other community services.
Additional responsibilities include:
Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centred program that reflects the school community and Indigenous perspectives.
Foster healthy relationships with children families the school and the wider community.
Build and maintain partnerships with local community stakeholders including kindergartens and support services.
Lead a team of Educators onsite including roster management and mentoring.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the service.
Nominated supervisor: ensuring regulatory compliance and reporting to the Department
Ensure quality and compliance in service delivery in line with the National Quality Framework (NQF) with a strong understanding of exceeding themes.
Grow attendance to support children and families.
Attendance at Victorian Leadership Team meetings and time in Head Office once per week
Who are we looking for
Minimum 2 years experience working with children in a leadership position or a similar role.
Diploma qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Diploma in Childrens Services).
Current and valid Working with Children Check or state-required check.
Clear and professional communication.
Demonstrated understanding of the NQF and quality improvement practices.
