JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Are you a design professional who thrives on shaping high-quality living environments and enjoys working across multiple projectsWere looking for a Design Manager to join the team on a 12-month contract supporting a portfolio of Build to Rent and Purpose-Built Student Accommodation projects across Australia.
This is a client-side role where youll play a key part from early design through to delivery. Youll work across multiple assets collaborating closely with consultants contractors and internal stakeholders to drive strong consistent design outcomes.
With a diverse pipeline of residential-led developments at various stages this role offers variety visibility and the chance to influence projects from concept to completion.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Support design management across multiple projects from concept to completion
- Coordinate consultants and driving alignment across design cost and program
- Review documentation to ensure quality compliance and buildability
- Partner with delivery teams to support smooth project execution
- Identify risks and opportunities to optimise design outcomes
About You:
Youre a collaborative and commercially minded Design Manager who enjoys working across multiple projects and balancing design intent with delivery outcomes. Youre confident engaging with a range of stakeholders and bring a proactive solutions-focused approach to everything you do.
Were looking for someone who brings:
- Experience as a Design Manager or Senior Design Coordinator
- Background in residential mixed-use BTR or student accommodation projects
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to balance design quality with program and cost considerations
- A proactive solutions-focused mindset
