Key Duties and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Bus Driver to join our team in a full-time capacity.

FIFO from Darwin

This role operates on a 14/7 roster with 11-hour shifts and includes utility support duties alongside transport responsibilities.

The successful candidate will play a key role in safely transporting site personnel while assisting with general site operations to ensure a clean functional and welcoming environment.

Location: Fly In Fly Out Northern Territory remote site
Employment Type: Full-Time
Roster: 14 days on / 7 days off
Shift Length: 11 hours per day
Salary: $.5% Superannuation Penalties

Driving Responsibilities:

• Safely operate buses to transport site personnel between accommodation work areas and other designated locations.
• Conduct pre-start vehicle checks and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and site-specific transport protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle.

Utility Support Responsibilities:

• Assist with general cleaning duties across site facilities (e.g. dining areas amenities offices).
• Support waste management restocking supplies and basic maintenance tasks.
• Respond to ad hoc requests from site management to support daily operations.
• Ensure all tasks are completed in line with Compass Groups safety and hygiene standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid HR (Heavy Rigid) Drivers License.
• Must have a licence to Carry Passengers (H-Endorsement or PTD)
• Previous experience in bus driving preferably in a remote or FIFO environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong awareness of safety and fatigue management.
• Willingness to perform utility tasks as required.
• Good communication and time management skills.
