Your Role
This is a dynamic and hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of Vincentian House. You will oversee accommodation services support staff performance and ensure a safe well-managed and responsive environment for residents. Working closely with the Accommodation Manager you will lead a high performing team manage site operations and ensure service delivery aligns with organisational standards policies and values. You will be part of a supportive values-driven team that is passionate about delivering real outcomes for the community.
Your Responsibility
- Lead and coordinate daily operations of the accommodation service ensuring smooth and efficient delivery
- Support supervise and develop staff to build a high performing and responsive team
- Manage room allocations resident onboarding inspections and associated reporting
- Oversee shift coordination ensuring clear handovers and full coverage across the roster
- Maintain a safe secure and welcoming environment including regular rounds and monitoring systems
- Ensure strong Work Health and Safety practices and compliance across the site
- Manage site resources and supplies including stock control and ordering
- Liaise with external agencies regarding vacancies and accommodation needs
- Contribute to staff rostering workforce planning and team meetings
- Support onboarding and ongoing development of team members
- Monitor service delivery maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting requirements
- Participate in the on-call roster to respond to after-hours operational matters
You Will Need
- Certificate IV in Community Services or related field or relevant experience or currently undertaking tertiary study
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to coordinate site operations
- Well-developed communication skills both written and verbal
- Sound knowledge of Work Health and Safety legislation and its application in the workplace
- Experience working with diverse and complex client groups
- Ability to use sound judgement and respond effectively in crisis situations
- Strong administrative and computer skills
