A leading transport manufacturing company in the Northern Suburbs (Green Fields SA) is seeking a Team Leader Boilermaker Welder to join their team.

The important parts:

Day shift: 6:30am 2:36pm
Competitive casual pay rate: $68.75 per hour plus penalties
Immediate start available
Opportunity for permanent employment directly with the client

What you will be required to do:

Lead and support the manufacturing of transport buses through welding fabrication and assembly of stainless steel components.

Lead and support a small team of welders/fabricators
MIG weld stainless steel and work with sheet metal
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Fabricate and assemble stainless steel components for buses
Ensure safety and quality standards are met
Support production targets and workflow efficiency
Maintain a clean and safe workspace

To be successful in the role you will:

Have proven experience as a Boilermaker / Welder in stainless steel fabrication
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Be able to MIG weld stainless steel
Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
Have full working rights in Australia
Have reliable transport and ability to get to work
Strong commitment to safety quality and teamwork
