PR Intern

Hey you! Are you looking for an internship that will introduce you to PR from an agency perspective TEAM LEWIS is looking for an Intern for the Brussels or Antwerp office where we represent leading companies in various sectors.

TEAM LEWIS is an entrepreneurial integrated communications agency that has gone from start-up to multi-national in over 30 years. We have grown every year since foundation due to a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions. We are agile bold collaborative inquisitive and spirited. We are TEAM LEWIS.

We have offices in Antwerp & Brussels and have a wide variety of different clients. Next to that we were able to put ourselves on the map when it comes to integrated campaigns. We work hard we play hard and we love to win.

We are looking for

Key Responsibilities

• Assists the team with the management of client accounts and projects;

• Understand and avidly follows the news agenda positioning clients and products within context;

• Develops an understanding of strong news angles and media opportunities;

• Monitors relevant news sources and alerts the team to relevant breaking news opportunities;

• Drafts a broad range of written materials including biographies briefing documents media alerts soundbites Q&As backgrounders and boilerplates;

• Creates valuable and insightful briefing sheets to assist clients with their press activities;

• Tracks and reports on media activity including coverage reports press clippings online media engagement showing progress using metrics;

• And so much more!

About you

• Native Dutch and French speaker with a good knowledge of English;

• Hungry to learn to win and to move forward;

• PR / communication student;

• Open to feedback;

• Creative thinking and an open-minded approach;

• A persuasive and convincing writing style;

• Ability to prioritise;

• Calmness under pressure and ability to achieve tight deadlines;

• Excellent general knowledge of and a keen interest in current affaris.
