Are you a positive efficient and enthusiastic person with a can-do attitude Te Manawa Museum of Art Science and Heritage is seeking someone who will thrive on variety and has the energy to work at pace under the guidance of our experienced hosting events and learning teams.

Youll know how to get along with others be self-motivated and possess the flexibility to adapt and re-prioritise as necessary with the help of other Te Manawa team members. Things are always busy at the Museum and as a first point of contact with our visitors youll be someone who loves engaging with people. You will be passionate about our diverse and multi-faceted communities whose aspirations will be important to you.

The visitor host team consists of part-timers working on a scheduled rostered system and we are looking for someone to work every Friday through to Monday (9.30am 5.30pm) total of 30 hours per week.

This position offers an entry-level opportunity to work in a unique and creative environment. Te Manawa is alive with colour noise and activity. We engage and inspire our community with an exciting and ever-changing schedule of exhibitions and activities.
