Were looking for a Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our experienced team in Dunedin. Youll service and repair vehicles to ensure reliable safe and efficient operation of our fleet.

Supported by a close-knit team environment you will be enabled to work to your strengths within a diverse range of equipment servicing requirements.

Ngā kawenga matua Key responsibilities

• Service and repair vehicles and plant
• Follow correct repair procedures to maintain quality standards minimise rework and meet compliance requirements.
• Report all failures breakdowns and causes to the supervisor so issues can be resolved quickly and underlying problems addressed.
• Accurately identify high-risk situations and implement appropriate controls to reduce safety risks for mechanics and others on site

Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga Were looking for someone with

• NZ Trade Qualification or other relevant NZQA
• WOF Vehicle Inspector preferred
• A minimum of a current Class 1 full driver licence is essential
• Knowledge of machines materials and tools used for repairs and maintenance
• The ability to communicate effectively within a team environment
