About the Opportunity
Join a brand-new state-of-the-art 90-bed acute care hospital in Gainesville FL. This facility offers comprehensive emergency services advanced surgical care and a 30-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. As an Occupational Therapist you will help patients regain independence improve functionality and enhance their quality of life through personalized evidence-based therapy.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Treatment
- Evaluate patients functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Patient & Family Support
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals and recovery plans
- Promote patient independence and engagement throughout the rehabilitation process
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Support therapy assistants and students as needed
- Ensure continuity of care and smooth patient transitions
Working Conditions

Job Qualifications
- Experience: 1 year preferred (new graduates considered)
- License: Active State Licensed Occupational Therapist (Required)
