Compensation & Benefits

• New Grad / Minimum: $32.52/hr
• Mid-Level (10 years): $40.65/hr
• Experienced (16 years): Up to $44.72/hr

About the Opportunity

Join a brand-new state-of-the-art 90-bed acute care hospital in Gainesville FL. This facility offers comprehensive emergency services advanced surgical care and a 30-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. As an Occupational Therapist you will help patients regain independence improve functionality and enhance their quality of life through personalized evidence-based therapy.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Treatment

• Evaluate patients functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Patient & Family Support

• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and recovery plans
• Promote patient independence and engagement throughout the rehabilitation process

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Support therapy assistants and students as needed
• Ensure continuity of care and smooth patient transitions

Working Conditions

Job Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year preferred (new graduates considered)
• License: Active State Licensed Occupational Therapist (Required)
• Education: Vocational School Graduate (Required)
• Certification: BLS required within 30 days of start
