Job Summary
As a Field Service Supervisor here at Honeywell you will be responsible for overseeing a team of Field Service Technicians dedicated to the removal and installation of gas water and electric meters for both commercial and residential customers.
Reports to:Program Leader
Location:Winston-Salem NC.
Travel:Local travel as needed / Company vehicle and expense card provided
Team Size:23 (Field Technicians & Warehouse personnel)
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role involves ensuring that field operations are executed efficiently while maintaining high safety standards and customer satisfaction. The Supervisor will also play a key role in training mentoring and developing team members optimizing service delivery processes and managing resources to achieve operational goals.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise mentor and lead a team of Field Service Technicians by providing guidance support and performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages continuous improvement and safety.
Operational Oversight:
- Ensure timely removal and installation of gas water and electric meters adhering to company and regulatory standards.
- Monitor daily operations schedules and workloads to optimize resource allocation and efficiency.
Quality Assurance:
- Oversee field audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Investigate and resolve any service-related issues ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to service level agreements.
Training and Development:
- Develop and implement training programs for new and existing team members on installation techniques safety protocols and customer service skills.
- Keep team updated on industry advancements company policies and technological developments.
Customer Interaction:
- Act as a point of contact for escalated customer inquiries and issues related to meter installations and removals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent service and addressing needs effectively.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of field operations customer interactions and team performance.
- Prepare and present regular reports on team productivity service quality and operational challenges to senior management.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Promote a strong safety culture within the team ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Conduct safety training and ensure compliance with industry safety standards.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to effectively manage a team that works in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed for emergency or urgent installations.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in field service management or a similar role with performance and financial (revenue & cost) management oversight.
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficient in Suite of Business Applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook etc.) and work order management systems.
