The following position is an opening in the Elgin School District for the 2026-2027 School Year:Position: District Literacy Coach K-12Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree Preferred Masters Degree in Reading or LiteracyProper Certification/LicensureSignificant Literacy Teaching ExperiencePreferred Certified Dyslexia Interventionist/Structured Literacy TrainingBCI/FBI ClearanceEssential Functions:Provide job-embedded coaching K-12 teachers including classroom observations co-teaching modeling lessons and feedback literacy courses or intervention groups modeling evidence-based instructional practices and high-impact strategies across grade professional development aligned to district literacy goals curriculum standards and student achievement data.
