C-Class or B-Class Technician Opportunity

Maplecrest Ford is looking for a motivated dependable Entry-Level Automotive Technician to join our service team. This is a strong opportunity for someone who is ready to grow their career in a professional dealership environment.

We are open to hiring either:

• A solid C-Class Technician looking to take the next step
• An early B-Class Technician with maintenance and light repair experience who wants to continue developing

Position Summary

The Entry-Level Technician will perform maintenance and repair work based on skill level training and experience. This role is designed for a technician who can handle entry-level service work efficiently while continuing to learn and grow within the shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and factory-scheduled maintenance
• Complete tire rotations replacements and flat repairs
• Perform brake inspections and basic brake work
• Test and replace batteries
• Perform multi-point inspections
• Handle light suspension and steering work
• Assist with basic diagnostic work depending on experience
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Accurately document repairs and recommendations
• Work with team leaders foremen and senior technicians as needed

C-Class Technician Profile

A C-Class Technician at Maplecrest Ford should be able to perform routine maintenance and light repair work with limited supervision while building speed confidence and consistency.

Typical work includes:

• Oil changes
• Filters
• Tire work
• Battery replacement
• Brake service
• Basic inspections
• Minor front-end and light repair work

B-Class Technician Profile

A B-Class Technician at Maplecrest Ford should be able to perform a broader range of maintenance and repair work with less supervision including some light-to-moderate diagnostic work.

Typical work includes:

• Brake and suspension repairs
• Cooling system work
• Tune-ups
• Basic drivability concerns
• Check engine light diagnosis
• Light to moderate mechanical repairs

Qualifications

• Prior automotive repair experience preferred
• Technical school training is a plus
• Valid drivers license required
• Basic tools required
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Good attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Commitment to quality workmanship
