Group 1 Ford of Southwest Houston is growing and looking to add Automotive Technicians of all skill levelsfrom entry-level to experienced and master-certifiedto our team!Whether youre just starting your career or bring advanced diagnostic expertise we offer an environment that supports continuous learning strong performance and career advancement.
This is an opportunity to work in a high-performing shop with a team that values quality collaboration and professional growth. We are committed to developing technicians at every stage providing the tools training and support needed to succeed.
*Candidates without hands-on automotive experience must be currently enrolled in or have completed an automotive technician training program to be considered.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately following dealership and factory standards
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics troubleshooting and testing on automotive systems
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
- Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
- Uphold company values in all interactions with customers coworkers and vendors
Qualifications
- Prior automotive experience or completion of a technical training program required (dealership experience preferred)
- Ford/Lincoln manufacturer certifications or ASE certifications are a big plus!
- A positive & friendly attitude
- Tools based on our experience
- Communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Strong desire to provide an exceptional client experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid drivers license
