Job Summary
Role: GCP Architect
Location: San Jose CA (or) Wilton CT (Hybrid - 2 to 3 days a week onsite)
Job Type: W2 Contract
Contract Length: 1 year
Must have:
- Google Cloud Platform Architecture
- Microsoft Azure Architecture- nice to have
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive cloud architecture solutions for infrastructure and applications in Google Cloud Platform
- Create and maintain reference architectures guiding principles and solution building blocks for enterprise cloud adoption
- Define technology standards and future state roadmaps for cloud services and programmable infrastructure
- Ensure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions through proper design and implementation
- Lead architectural decisions for GCP implementations while communicating impacts to stakeholders
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience as a Cloud Platform & Product Architect with deep expertise in GCP environments
- Proven experience setting up enterprise-level account structures and security models in Google Cloud
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based delivery models PaaS offerings and data integration patterns
- Experience applying engineering and coding skills in agile environments with DevOps practices
- Familiarity with IT architecture methodologies (e.g. TOGAF) and service management processes (ITIL)
- Demonstrated ability to create technical roadmaps and drive architectural decisions at enterprise scale
